Stuart Cummings
Played Minor Counties cricket for Cheshire before starting a refereeing career in Rugby League. A PE teacher, he also refereed 2 RL World Cup Finals, 4 RL Challenge Cup Finals and 2 Super League Grand Finals.
In 2002 he became Match Officials Director for the Rugby Football League and stayed in this role until 2013 setting up full time referees and developing a coaching and performance management structure.
He went on to work with many different sports and was part of Sky Sports RL commentary team. He started mentoring English Cricket Umpires before being appointed as Match Referee with the ECB. He was also Match Officials Manager for the International Rugby League.
Karl Hurter
Played cricket at school and club level before embarking on an umpiring career that spanned 24 years. Umpired 115 First Class matches and 4 One Day Internationals as well as a host of List A and T20 matches. Was actively involved in the restructuring of professional umpiring in Cricket South Africa over a 4 year period before accepting the Umpire Coach position at the ICC in November 2017. Responsibilities include Elite and International Panel Umpires in South Africa and Zimbabwe, as well as Development Umpires in Africa.
Nandan
A former first-class cricketer in India transitioned to umpiring in the late 1990s after a successful career as a mechanical engineer in the aeronautical industry, where he worked for over 35 years. His umpiring career spanned 25 years, during which he officiated more than 80 first-class matches and around 60 IPL games.
He joined the International Panel of Umpires, officiating in 25 T20I and ODI matches. In the later stages of his career, he contributed to the cricket community by conducting workshops and seminars, as well as mentoring and coaching aspiring umpires.
Bruce Oxenford
Beginning his cricket journey as a formidable player, he made his first class debut with the university of Queensland and Gold coast, showcasing his skills as a lower-order right-hand batsman and a proficient leg break and googly bowler for Queensland in first-class cricket. Transitioning seamlessly to umpiring, he made his mark with his debut officiating the Queensland v New Zealanders match at the historic Brisbane Cricket Ground in November 2001.
He stood in his first international match between India and Sri Lanka at Manuka Oval in 2008. Recognised for his excellence, he ascended to the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires in 2012, a testament to his impeccable judgment and composure under pressure. In 2021, he gracefully retired from the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, but his passion for the game persisted. Remaining actively engaged, he continued to lend his officiating expertise to domestic and private league matches.
In May 2024, he resumed his involvement with the ICC, this time as an umpire coach, furthering his contribution to the sport he loves.
